Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital is a level-4 Hospital located in the City of Nairobi’s populous Embakasi Constituency. Its precise location is between Umoja-II and Komarock Estates 11KM East of the city centre at the junction of Kangundo road and Kayole Spine road. The area is mainly residential and has numerous informal settlements.

Brief History
The facility was initially gazetted as Embakasi District Hospital on 8th October 2010. Due to the DDC recommendation, the facility was gazetted as Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital on 15th July, 2011. The whole idea came up as a result of the tenants as spelt out in the building blocks of Vision 2030 and Millennium Development Goals that seeks to address accessibility, affordability and quality health services to all Kenyans.
